EDMwire
Program Features
-
Works
Within AutoCAD
R14, 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2005 to form a full featured CAD/CAM
System.
-
Outputs
code in as few as 6 clicks of the mouse
-
2
& 4 Axis programming
Allows full 2 & 4 Axis programming in the same output file, drastically
reducing the size of the output files for complex parts, and increasing the
speed of regeneration time on the console.
-
Outputs
Object-Oriented NC code
Utilizes the advanced features of Mitsubishi EDM
machines to create the newest style of NC code, allowing the programmer to edit
the job quickly and easily.
Object-Oriented NC Code
is the next generation of the Mitsubishi
Main and Sub routine style of programming.
What is Object-Oriented NC code?
-
Z-axis
movement
Z-axis can be raised or lowered on any vertex, avoiding raised areas or
improving flushing on odd-shaped parts.
-
3D Render &
Animate Cut with Speed Adjustment
 |
3D render
allows you to render just one object or all of them at once.
Instant Render will re-render the object every time you modify
the object in real time.
Animate Cut allows you to animate just one object or all of
them in sequence including Skim, Land, and Micro-Joint cuts.
Wire Speed changes the speed of animation and can be adjusted
while animating the cut.
|
-
Full
3D Rendering in real time
If
you move a vertex (a point on the line) the 3D rendering will move with the
vertex in real time. This allows you to modify your drawing without all the
fuss.

-
Code
Editor with Tool Tips & full Gcode Help

-
Uses
Mitsubishi EPack files
The EPack files your Mitsubishi wire machine
outputs to disk can be read directly by the EDMwire
program.
-
Create
custom EPack file
This allows for custom EPack files. The FA, RA, QA, and newer machines all
allow for comments to be placed in the EPack files on the machine when
customizing the EPacks. These comments can be viewed in AutoCAD in the View
Settings dialog box.
-
NO
Postprocessor required
AutoCAD's powerful data base allows you to manipulate objects in real time,
creating a true CAD/CAM system to handle the advanced features of today's wire
machines.
-
List Dialog box of all Objects with parameters
You can view up to 32 different parameters for each object in the order of
preference. When multiple cuts are utilized, the programmer is able to view the
cut order.
